Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) & WNY Smart Growth Community Fund: Applications due by Wednesday, June 14, 2017.
In Western New York, applicants to the DRI that are not nominated as the $10 million winners of the 2017 statewide competition, will automatically be eligible for additional funding for transformative improvements to their downtowns through the Smart Growth Community Fund available through Phase II of the Buffalo Billion.
Interested applicants are encouraged to attend Workshops or Information Sessions to learn about New York State’s CFA online application process, eligibility criteria, and how to access more than $800 million in state economic development resources.

Agenda: Comprehensive overview of available funding programs, selection criteria, and instructions on how to use the online application system, followed by breakout sessions with state agency representatives.
