The Delaware Small Business Development Center Technology Assistance Program (DSBDCTAP) is a specialized Small Business Development Center (SBDC) focusing only on technology-based businesses that have the potential to provide useful products and technologies that the research and development of which can be applied in a broader scope to help the development needs of the federal government.

Each of the 11 distinct agencies that participate in #SBIR and #STTR grants have its own proprietary requirements for funding. Agriculture, Defense, NASA, Environmental Protection, Transportation, Education, Homeland Security, Commerce, Energy, Health and Human Services, and the National Science Foundation are all participating agencies within the category of SBIR/STTR.

The Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) is a service designed to help Delaware based startups and small businesses prepare and submit successful proposals. By using DSBDCTAP’s SBIR Toolkits, customized specifically to the federal agency and type of solicitation, companies can gain an advantage in their chances to be awarded funding.

For a $300 membership cost, a business entity can gain access to the DSBDCTAP and EPSCoR services. In addition to the toolkit, membership grants the member access to up to one hour of consultation. For more detailed information or a list of frequently asked questions, visit the DSBDCTAP website

For more in-depth assistance and guidance, it is recommended to employ the assistance of a consulting agency.

@EBHConsulting offers proven results (a 100% pre-proposal application acceptance rate) in creating complete and effective proposals that adhere to the individual guidelines of each agency and funding initiative.
