NIH Commercialization Accelerator Program (CAP) for HHS SBIR/STTR Phase II Companies

If you are a company with (or recently had) an HHS SBIR or STTR Phase II funding award, or if you are a university working on a STTR-funded project with such a company, you may want to have the small business awardee consider applying to the NIH Commercialization Accelerator Program (CAP) for HHS SBIR/STTR Phase II Awardees.

OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS UNTIL AUGUST 31, 2017 11:59pm PDT

Basically, the NIH CAP is a 9-month commercialization mentoring/training program that is Free to selected HHS Phase II SBIR/STTR awardees (e.g., NIH, CDC, FDA grant or contract Phase II SBIR/STTR awardees) who apply and are selected for CAP.  The small business can learn and work on developing tools, strategic plans, and/or other relevant approaches for achieving successful commercialization and readiness for market opportunities of their HHS SBIR/STTR-funded technologies.  Please note that this program provides technical assistance, but it is not a funding program.
