Meet the team: Amber Clark, Client Funding Strategist

  • June 1, 2021

Amber has a background in human services, psychology, health, and business management. Amber has experience with federal agency proposals (mainly SBIR), foundation proposals, and federal, state, and local government contracts. Her primary area of focus is proposal preparation but she has also worked on various research, evaluation, and business plan projects, among others. Amber’s favorite part of her career is discovering emerging innovations or technologies. She also enjoys being able to learn about each client’s unique product and vision, translate that information to the reviewers, and demonstrate the merit of the project.

As an avid coffee drinker, one of Amber’s most fun projects was working on a business plan to help an entrepreneur bring an iconic Ethiopian coffee brand to the U.S. for the first time. Some of the projects Amber is most proud of include proposals to fund programming that provides education and capital for female entrepreneurs, accelerators in developing communities, and health-related proposals for novel devices that detect hypoxia, heal broken bones, combat vascular disease, fight cancer, and improve the healthcare system with AI.
