NFS SBIR Extends Deadline

SBIR/STTR PROPOSAL SUBMISSION EXTENSION: The current SBIR & STTR Phases I & II proposal submission windows are extended to 5:00 p.m. submitter’s time on January 6, 2022.

The current proposal submission windows have been extended to 5:00 p.m. submitter’s local time on Thursday, January 6, 2022, for Phases I and II of the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program and the Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Program. Applicants who have already initiated an SBIR or STTR proposal in FastLane for the current submission window must update the due date from December 2, 2021, to January 6, 2022.

The proposal submission window extensions to January 6, 2022, are for the following SBIR and STTR Phase I and Phase II program solicitations:

  • Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program Phase I (NSF 21-562)
  • Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Program Phase I (NSF 21-563)
  • Small Business Innovation Research Program Phase II (NSF 21-565)
  • Small Business Technology Transfer Program Phase II (NSF 21-566)
