You may have noticed it is part of a site called Startup Fund Hub, but that most of the pages say “coming soon.” You may have wondered, “What’s up with that”? With the official release of Startup Fund Hub scheduled for Summer 2020 and the team behind the product incredibly excited about its release, we would like to tell you exactly what’s up with that.
What is Startup Fund Hub?
Startup Fund Hub is the first-ever searchable, self-service funding database that curates all types of federal funding in one place. That’s right, federal, state, foundation, accelerator/incubator, pitch competition, grants, contracts, cooperative agreements, everything.
Oh, and did we mention it is updated regularly and constantly QC’d for accuracy? (QC in E.B. Howard Consulting speak is short for Quality Control. In this case, any funding opportunity listed is meant for small businesses and takes very little to no equity).
How Did It Start?
Christine E.B. Howard, E.B. Howard Consulting’s founder, has helped hundreds of small businesses find funding. There was a lot about the process of finding non-dilutive funding without the help of a consultant that frustrated clients. It can be especially difficult for those who are not sure they are ready to apply for funding but do want to investigate to see what options are out there for them. Christine thought there had to be a better way. She envisioned a database with all the available funding opportunities that could be searched to find relevant opportunities. As a result, for the first time ever, business owners can see what options are available to them without endlessly scouring the deep dark corners of the web.
How Can I Get Access?
The official product launch is anticipated in the Summer of 2020. At that time, subscriptions will become available. Check the website regularly for updates, and in addition, you can currently use the existing free Covid-19 database to search for Covid-19-related funding.
