Many businesses give back through a “community service” day or event on an occasional basis. The result is typically a forced, inauthentic, and exceptionally brief show of “dedication” to the community. (Sorry, just calling it what it is.) Many corporate types will go outside and pose in their suits, shovels in hand, for the press cameras. A single tree is planted (as if that can offset one-millionth of most of these businesses ‘ carbon footprint), and it’s back to business.
On the other hand, you have your startups and small businesses that give back differently because they #GiveFirst. Small businesses offer community service by providing complimentary office hours, pro-bono services, volunteering for local chapters of small business organizations, providing mentorship, and judging contests. These business owners do not do this once a year while smiling for the camera. They do it monthly, weekly, or daily.

We like to give back by offering everyone access to our COVID-19 database, one of the searchable funding databases on our proprietary platform Startup Fund Hub, for FREE.
This was a service we began in mid-march when the pandemic’s severity and permanence became impossible to ignore. Many changes have occurred to how we all live and work, and the pandemic has affected many small businesses in a less than ideal way.
That is why we dedicate effort and person-hours to building our COVID-19 database every day, so other business owners can help navigate the pandemic and see the light at the end of the tunnel. We do not do it because someone pays us to, we do it because it is the right thing to do.

The COVID-19 database on Startup Fund Hub is FREE now and will be free forever. All you need to get your own subscription is to sign up with an email address. We offer over 500 COVID-related grants (this list grows every day) for research, business support, PPE, and more. We add new opportunities in real-time as they are announced. We will get through this pandemic together, and we hope to offer these opportunities to other small businesses that can help them weather the storm.
