#DoD #SBIR Key Dates

SBIR Pre-Release Began on December 10, 2019. You are now welcome to ask clarification questions to program officials. The official opening date has been announced as January 14, 2020. At this time, you can begin submitting proposals. Announcement Closes on February 12, 2020, at 8:00 p.m. ET, so make sure you have your proposal submitted before this date.

Requirements and Eligibility

A few reminders regarding eligibility and required registrations. Eligible entities are small businesses based in the U.S. with fewer than 500 employees and an #innovative solution to a problem outlined in the #Dod #SBIR proposal topic list. Required registrations include in this order, EIN and DUNS, SAM, grants.gov (both organization and PI profile.) and SBA registry. Some items to organize in advance to aid your consultant in helping with proposal prep includes research team information, equipment and location information, references used to arrive at your hypothesis, a research plan, and any proof of registration from the portals required to participate in the #DoD #SBIR.
